Bi / Pan:

I`ve identified as bisexual for the longest time. I actually thought “everyone liked everyone” until I realised it was not something everybody did, falling in love with the girl living next to me or thinking your best friend was amazing in all the ways possible. Back then we didn't have the term pansexual and queer information wasn`t as available where I grew up. Nevertheless, finding my place under the umbrella of LGBTQIA hasn't always been that easy and I feel that being pan can get some more of the space that it needs.
Since we all are labeled “different” from society, Instead of dividing, measuring and judging our own ; I think focusing on allyship and inclusion, building the queer community strong, should be our main focus!

So with all of this in mind I wanted to document the people who felt like me, a bit on the side or in the middle. Someone left in between, but not really going somewhere. Just all right where they were…   To have a moment to meet and hang out in their homes, or somewhere intimate, alone or with their lover. Straight forward, old school portraits.

I am so thankful for all the lovely people who have reached out and that I've photographed so far. If you'd like to be a part of this project, please do write to me here (jenny@jennyhvidingvisuals.com) and I`ll find a way.

Also so thankful for the direction our society is going, opening up…. Hopefully soon we don't have to state our sexuality anymoreeeee.

Love is love you know. Celebrate it everyday loud or inside your heart. But be proud please! <3
